Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 15, 2025. EasySlide is committed to ensuring our AI-powered presentation tools are accessible to everyone.
1. Our Commitment
EasySlide is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
We believe that everyone should have access to powerful AI-driven presentation tools, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use.
2. Accessibility Standards
EasySlide strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and improve usability for all users.
Our goal is to meet or exceed these standards across our platform, including our slide generation, AI chat, and image creation features.
3. Current Accessibility Features
Keyboard Navigation: Core features and navigation elements are accessible via keyboard shortcuts and tab navigation.
Screen Reader Support: We structure our content with semantic HTML and ARIA labels to support screen reader technologies.
Color Contrast: We implement sufficient color contrast ratios between text and backgrounds to ensure readability.
Responsive Design: Our interface adapts to different screen sizes and can be zoomed up to 200% without loss of functionality.
Alternative Text: Images and visual elements include descriptive alt text where applicable.
Clear Language: We use clear, simple language throughout the interface and documentation.
4. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some limitations currently exist:
Complex Visualizations: Some AI-generated slide content and image previews may have limited accessibility features for users with visual impairments.
Real-time Preview: The live preview feature during slide editing may not fully support all assistive technologies.
Third-party Content: Content generated by AI models or uploaded by users may not always meet accessibility standards.
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all features.
5. Assistive Technologies
EasySlide aims to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
Screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver
Screen magnification software
Speech recognition software
Keyboard-only navigation
We test our platform with various browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on both desktop and mobile devices.
