Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2024. Please read these Terms carefully to understand your obligations when using EasySlide.
For details about how we process personal data, please review our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
EasySlide provides AI-assisted tools for generating presentation content, slide assets, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing the Service as a guest, or continuing to use EasySlide, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
You affirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Service Overview
EasySlide helps you transform ideas into presentation-ready content through features such as AI-powered slide generation, ideation chat, and image creation or enhancement. Some capabilities require purchasing credits or subscriptions, while limited guest usage is available without registration.
We continuously iterate on the Service. Features may change, be removed, or be subject to usage limits to protect platform stability and fairness for all users.
3. Accounts, Access, and Eligibility
Registered accounts are provisioned via Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at yrobo7@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Guests may try certain features with daily limits that we enforce using IP-based safeguards and local storage counters. We reserve the right to adjust or disable guest access at any time.
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive, incomplete, or associated with misuse.
4. Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments
EasySlide offers a credit system that governs access to premium slide, image, and pro-generation workflows. Credits may be granted at signup, awarded as promotions, or purchased. Credit balances, usage logs, and bonus grants are stored in our Vercel Postgres database to ensure accurate accounting.
Recurring subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. All billing disputes are subject to Stripe's policies as well as these Terms.
Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and expire or reset as described during purchase or promotion. We may adjust credit pricing, availability, or entitlement levels with prior notice where required by law.
Taxes, currency conversions, and third-party fees are your responsibility. If a payment fails or a subscription lapses, access to paid features may be suspended.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that violates applicable laws, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, promotes harm, harassment, or discrimination, or facilitates fraudulent or deceptive activity.
You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit requirements, guest quotas, or security measures. Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with our infrastructure is prohibited.
We may monitor usage patterns, including through analytics described in our Privacy Policy, to detect abuse. Repeated violations may lead to suspension or termination without refund.
6. User Content and License
You retain ownership of prompts, inputs, uploaded assets, and generated outputs (collectively, "User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant EasySlide a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
To provide the Service we log prompts, generated slides, and image assets (including through the /api/logContent route) and maintain conversation histories for signed-in users. We may use aggregated and de-identified statistics to enhance performance and reliability, but we do not sell personal content to advertisers.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy and legality before using it in public or commercial contexts.
7. Generative AI Output Disclaimer
EasySlide integrates third-party large language and image models, including services accessed via OpenRouter (Claude), Ideogram, SiliconFlow translation, custom FLUX endpoints, and external slide-rendering APIs. AI outputs may be incorrect, offensive, or inconsistent with your prompts.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or fitness for a particular purpose of any generated material. You must independently verify factual claims, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and obtain licenses for any third-party content you incorporate.
8. Third-Party Services
Your use of EasySlide relies on integrations with other providers, including but not limited to Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel Postgres (data hosting), Cloudflare R2 (asset storage), and analytics services such as Google Analytics, Baidu Analytics, and our own telemetry pipeline that captures device, event, and network metadata.
These third parties may collect or receive personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Their terms govern your relationship with them, and EasySlide is not responsible for damages arising from their acts or omissions.
9. Privacy and Data Security
Our data practices are detailed in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to the collection and processing of personal data as described there, including logging of session identifiers, IP-derived geolocation, and interaction analytics to improve usability and security.
We employ industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no system can be completely secure, and you acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access without liability if we believe you have violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or if continued service is impractical due to legal or technical constraints. You may terminate at any time by ceasing use and, if applicable, cancelling subscriptions through Stripe.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain backups, analytics, and transactional records as needed for legitimate business purposes or legal obligations.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYSLIDE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
EasySlide, its affiliates, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us in the preceding three months or USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EasySlide, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify these Terms or the Service to reflect product updates, legal requirements, or business needs. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you disagree with updated Terms, you should discontinue use before the effective date and, if relevant, cancel recurring subscriptions.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EasySlide is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Parties agree to attempt informal resolution of disputes by contacting yrobo7@gmail.com before pursuing formal remedies. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
15. Contact
